Concrete Flatwork Forms That Last For Years |
Wood used to be the way to form concrete. It worked okay but wood soon become too twisted or beat up to use. And you had to put up with nailing, toe nailing, un-nailing, and messy stripping and cleaning.
There is a better way: PLASTIFORM
Nail-less and No Toe-Nailing? How?
To make the system completely nailess and no toe nailing, our 2x4 end connectors are stapled to the end of each Plastiform board. The boards can then be connected with just a snap to form a smooth seam and they are pulled apart just as easy. The end connectors are removed with just a screw driver to make short pieces and add inserts.
Our 2x6's Plastiform boards also have end connectors but to help keep them secure two staples are put in each end. Our 2x6's boards are also a full six inches wide to give you that added height when you needed. We also have 2x4 and 2x6 end connectors for wood that can be screwed or nailed to short wood pieces. This allows you to use wood to complete your form runs without cutting your Plastiform boards.
Camlock clamps are equally tough nylon fiber glass with one rounded corner at the base. This allows the camlock clamps to be twisted in & out anywhere along the boards. As the name implies, camlock clamps are cam-shaped so they can accomodate a wide range of stakes. Our large camlocks are used for round stakes which is what we recommend.
