Mansa
Musa is a husband and
father of two young boys; he served
6 years in the United States Marine Corp. He has attended
Highline Community College, Seattle Central College and
Washington State University continuing his studies in
Central College and Washington State University.
Mansa Musa has been an active
member of college and community groups for over 20 years as
one of the founding President and Vice Presidents of African
Brothers of Unity S.C.C.C., President and Vice President of
The Black Student Union .C.C.C., he has created several
African History study groups in Seattle, including Masunda
study group and the ASG study group.
Mansa has lectured on African
History, Art, Psychology, and spirituality at Seattle
Central Community College for over the past 10 years. He has
also lectured on International Trade and tourism at Olympic
College, Bellevue Community College, The African American
Academy and Hawthorne Elementary School.
Mansa has been the
owner/proprietor of several International Gift shops, Clubs
and Café’s including Uzuri International Gifts on 1st
Avenue, The Mecca International Café and Imports, Timbuktu
Imports, The French Quarters Café, and N.S.O. DeRoxy
Sportswear. Mr. Musa established the Galleria de Congo at
the NuBlack Arts West Theater and a online store which was
approved for a one million dollar investment in 2000….

Mansa has raised over $400,000 for Non profit organizations
and private business ventures.
Mansa has lead several
humanitarian efforts focusing on bettering the lives of
children in the U.S. and Africa. He has been renovating
primary schools in Ghana since 2000 with his One School at a
Time Program and has been on the board of The Blue Nile
Children’s organization assisting 30 orphans in Ethiopia
since 2000. He has also been on the board on NuBlack Arts
West Theatre teaching children through the arts in Seattle
and Ghana since 1996.
Mansa is the cofounder and C.E.O. of an ecommerce; Tourism,
International trade Trade Company shipping containers of
goods from Ghana, Ethiopia and Indonesia to the U.S. market.
This Company had also provided study Abroad, Enterprise,
Leisure and Cultural tours to Ghana West Africa and Ethiopia
